Rhos-on-Sea somewhere before the 27th June 1906. So judging by the scene it’s been a little bit rubbish for over 100 years.

The rear of the card includes an interesting discussion about the sender’s asthma and has been clearly marked by the asthmatic holidaymaker as Colwyn Bay (presumably less rubbish in comparison).

Also printed on the back is the very authoritarian message

This space may also be used for communication in the United Kingdom only.

That’s what the country is missing; authoritarian stationery.

It may be a design eccentricity but Lancashire looks quite wide but it does emphasise why Preston is considered the capital of Lancashire (the Friends might disagree with this though).
