Stanley, I have finally found it - the stapler graveyard. Many have tried and failed. Some at a terrible cost including paper cuts. I had to wait until the photocopier technician to appear and to silently stalk him. Some of these staples could have been here for years. Who would have thought that it was hidden just beneath the collator all along.
