Is it just me or is there a remarked similarly between the logo of the Dutch national football team and the much marketed Team GB logo that is assailing us at every angle. OK, the Dutch version is a bit wilder, orange and has a crown. The chins of the two lions are different, the UK version is much squarer but I really did have to hunt for this subtlety.
But in contrast to this weak defence, the tongues of the two lions scream ‘cut and paste’.
All of this points to the need for logo designers to run their ideas through a comparative Google image search before things get out of hand.
